10 News E-waste Event
Residents will be able to drop off their e-waste to be recycled free of charge. Accepted items include personal computers, copiers, telephones, DVD/CD players, pagers, radios, microwaves, cell phones, monitors, and televisions. If you're buying a digital TV for the DTV conversion on February 17, 2009, recycle that old set! A complete list of accepted items can be found on 10News.com under the I Love a Clean San Diego section. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to I Love a Clean San Diego.

Live Green! 3rd Annual Environmental Faire
Free and open to the community! Presented by the Congregation Beth Israel. Learn about solar, drought tolerant plants, and more! Kids can paint a cloth bag and there will also be a movie (The Story of Stuff), a plant sale, a gourmet farmer's market, as well as free food samples! At the event, there will be free electronics recycling so bring your old monitors, televisions, printers, cell phones, etc. This is a Zero Waste event!
